DR Horton taking advantage of the situation!

DR Horton returned to profitability thanks to improved margins and first time homebuyer tax credit from the federal government. Profits were the first posted for the builder in more than two years. Horton has also taken advantage of reduced lot costs as other builders sell excess lot inventory at a discount. Horton officials concede this is a step in the right direction but not an indication that housing industry recovery has happened. There are still a lot of things to be addressed in housing.
