Posted on June 15th, 2009 No comments“Red, yellow, purple, pink, orange, maroon, just about every color in the rainbow can be found in the medley of wildflowers growing on one lot in East McKinney. Sheree Nicholas, resident of Briar Trail, said her husband John planted six pounds of wildflower seeds in a lot on their property a few months ago. Now they have a field of flowers pretty enough to attract sightseers. Sheree said she’s even seen neighbors and passerbys stopping to pick boquets and take photos. She said this is the first year they’ve planted the flowers and they expect the flowers to grow denser and thicker year after year.”Full Story & Slideshow at Star Community Newspapers
